Every great studio starts with a vision.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve been exploring locations throughout Central New Jersey as we continue developing the vision for the future Engagd Media Campus. While we’re still in the early stages, one thing has become clear: we’re not simply looking for a building—we’re looking for the right home for a creative community.
Our initial focus is music.
Behind the scenes, our Head of Music Production and founding member, Chauncey, has been hard at work creating original instrumentals and building the foundation of what will become the Engagd sound. From music production and artist collaborations to sync opportunities for film, television, video games, and podcasts, we’re laying the groundwork one project at a time.
As we search for potential studio spaces, we’re exploring a variety of layouts. One option is a single campus where recording studios, podcast studios, collaboration spaces, offices, editing suites, and creative workspaces all exist under one roof. Another possibility is a multi-building campus, where each building is dedicated to a specific area of media production while remaining connected as part of the larger Engagd ecosystem.
We’re also drawn to locations that inspire creativity. New Jersey offers a unique mix of urban energy, historic character, and beautiful waterfronts. A campus overlooking the water or located near a marina or riverfront isn’t just appealing—it creates an environment where artists, producers, filmmakers, photographers, and entrepreneurs can step away from the studio, recharge, and find inspiration before returning to create something remarkable.
But the buildings themselves are only part of the story.
The real goal is to build a community.
We’re already collaborating with musicians, producers, photographers, videographers, podcasters, models, and creators from across the region. Every new project, every new partnership, and every new collaboration helps strengthen the foundation we’re building long before the first studio doors officially open.
The Engagd Media Campus isn’t simply about recording music or creating content. It’s about bringing creative people together, helping them grow professionally, and building an environment where opportunity is created through collaboration.
This is only the beginning, and we’re excited to share every step of the journey as the vision continues to take shape.
